I have been under Mr Pickersgills care for the last 5 years. Every visit to him I felt listened to and completely trusted his care throughout and more importantly he believed me, he believed my pain which had been quiestioned by other professionals. He has given me many options for my treatment of endometriosis and this has been successful for the last 5 years. I finally decided that it was the right time for a hysterectomy and Mr Pickersgill again completed this with the most care, advice and my procedure went perfectly and his aftercare is everything I could have asked for. Mr Pickersgill is one of the most genuine, nicest and truly caring Consultant's I have met. He is extremely professional, knowledgeable and good at his job, but he's also got a way of making people immediately feel at ease and relaxed, which is a rare and extremely valuable quality to have. I have recommended him numerous times to family and colleagues and everyone remains impressed.

Prior to my operation, I received a telephone consultation whereby Mr Pickersgill gave detailed explanation of what the procedures would entail. This gave me reassurance of what I would be going through during the operation. On the morning of the operation, Mr Pickersgill once again came to see me to explain the procedures during and after the operation. It was great to know what to expect. I found Mr Pickersgill very approachable, pleasant and friendly. He certainly comes across as very experienced and knowledgeable in his area of expertiese and I would certainly recommend Mr Pickersgill to my friends and my family if the hour of need arises.
